The CONCAT()
function concatenates several binary strings
SELECT cast('hello ' as bytea) || cast('world' as bytea);
create.select(binaryConcat("hello ".getBytes(), "world".getBytes())).fetch();
The result being
+-------------+ | concat | +-------------+ | hello world | +-------------+
