CREATE SEQUENCE .. AS

In order to specify a sequence data type explicitly, the optional AS clause can be used. The typical default in the absence of AS is BIGINT, although it may be dialect specific.
Dialect support
This example using jOOQ:
createSequence("s").as(SMALLINT)
Translates to the following dialect specific expressions:
